Katie & Travis's Wedding at The Old Palace Lodge Hotel, Dunstable

18 months in the planning and suddenly their big day was here. Katie & Travis were such a fantastic couple and I was really looking forward to the day, the weather was slightly chilly but it really didn't matter, there was so much fun and laughter throughout the entire day, it could only be described as awesome.

Their wedding was taking place at The Priory Church of St Peter, Dunstable, a beautiful church eastablished back in 1132, even though it is in the middle of the town it stands in some beautiful grounds. The wedding reception was being held literally across the road at The Old Palace Lodge Hotel, a contemporary hotel with a lovely feel about it.

Katie had 4 bridesmaids, her 2 sisters, Amanda & Nicola, Her best friend Lauren & Travis's rather cute niece Tilly, a little shy to begin with but she came around in the end. Katie also had a pageboy, Lewis who stole the hearts of all the ladies at the wedding. The atmosphere in the room while they were getting ready was so calm, lacing up the back of the dress was interesting, Nicola holding the instruction sheet while Amanda & Lauren followed her instructions, "A through C and then through B" and then the comment "the lady in the shop made it look so easy" time to make my exit at this point and head over the road to find Travis.

Travis seemed incredibly relaxed compared to some grooms I see.  His bestman was his brother Grant who I have to say was fantastic and took his responsibilities extremely seriously and always had a smile on his face, nothing was too much trouble. Travis's 2 ushers were Warren & Chris, you were all so good, we had a real laugh taking all the photos Travis requested.

Katie arrived on time in a fantastic car supplied by Lord Cars, Katie's car was the Silver lady and the bridesmaids arrived in the Silver Baroness, such superb cars. Katie was a little more serious at this point, can't think why! I just took the photos as things happened, a little adjustment of the dress and veil by the door, "deep breaths Katie" "you'll be fine" were all being said.

The ceremony passed and walking down the aisle after Katie & Travis seemed so relaxed, we exited the church and Katie was greeted by a few of her school puplis so we took a quick shot of them throwing confetti then off to take some family photos. I could go on about the whole day as it was brilliant but I just going to let you watch a small film I put together, enjoy!
